The exclusive self-contained guest wing accommodates up to eight people with four beautifully restored bedrooms, a private sitting room (all with open fires) and a kitchen. The heritage Shearers' Quarters is ideal for larger groups.
The main bedroom (room 1) has a king size bed and hand basin, and the second and third bedrooms have queen size beds and in-room hand basins. The fourth bedroom above the ballroom was originally intended for the orchestra. It's a charming room with a double bed and a large balcony. Original features are preserved throughout the guest wing, with a stunning antique claw bath in the main bathroom.
The kitchen has an authentic wood stove, a microwave and electric pan. Guests can also use the large gas barbeque in the leafy courtyard outside the guest kitchen.
The sitting room is spacious and comfortable and has a large open fire for cooler nights.

Pub meals are available in Great Western (3 minutes drive) and restaurants are in Ararat (10 minutes) including acclaimed restaurant The Vines, Stawell (15 minutes) and Halls Gap (30 minutes). Otherwise guests can use the barbeque and kitchen facilities at Allanvale.
